This week the all-new ‘Cheviot Round’ has been launched.
It is a 52-mile ultra-route which climbs 8,500 feet passing through the heart of the Cheviot Hills.
This is a self-led challenge route for both walkers and fell runners.
118 miles - 48 hour challenge walk 2021
Every year, Shepherds Walks raise money on the challenge walks for two great charities. With the year we have just had, it has been impossible to donate as we have in the past so I am personally going to step up to the bar and walk 118 miles from Scotland into England in 48 hours.

12 Week Training Plan for Challenge Walk
This short training plan has been put together to act as a guideline to prepare for any of our challenge walks. The more you train the less likely you are to experience pain or injuries on the event. The idea is to work your way up gradually, increasing your activity each week and giving your body time to recover and re-energize between workouts.
