Guided Walk - High Cup Nick
Last Sunday’s guided walk to High Cup Nick proved once again that days in the hills do not need wall-to-wall sunshine to be memorable. After three glorious days of blue skies and warm spring weather across Cumbria, Sunday had other ideas entirely!
Shepherd’s Cairn guided walk
With it being the 60th anniversary of the Northumberland National Park Mountain Rescue Team, it felt fitting to begin with a walk to the Shepherd’s Cairn, a memorial to the two shepherds whose tragic loss in 1962 led to the formation of the team.
