Nordic Walking - Rothbury - April 2019
A morning of Nordic Walking training with the experts!
Mouth of the Tyne - 2018
Our route took us passed the historic Admiral Lord Collingwood monument and along the riverside path to North Shields fish quay and the Shields Ferry terminal. Some of the old and new architecture is quite incredible. We saw the Black Middens rocks – clearly visible as the tide was out – and enjoyed wonderful views of the Tyne estuary.
Windy Gyle - 2018
As we made our way to the summit of Windy Gyle and despite the frequent showers we were able to enjoy magnificent views of the surrounding hills, including the Eildon Hills in the far distance.
Kielder Challenge - 2018
Over 130 people took place in this years Kielder Challenge Walk and completed the 25.3-mile trail.
Beamish and Causey Arch - 2018
The wonderful weather we have enjoyed this Summer continued and it was another beautiful morning as we met at the Causey Arch Picnic area to begin the walk. Mark introduced himself and Sue and Tony (Shepherds Walks volunteers) and outlined the route which would incorporate the Causey Arch, Tanfield Railway, Beamish Open Air Museum and Beamish Hall.
