My friend and I did the Cragside Carrage way walk, last weeken. It was a beautiful walk. We are just new to these walks and found the information and directions brilliant and easy to follow. Quite testing in parts but well worth the effort |

As there has not been an entry for some months I thought I'd say a few words.
Have been on several guided walks since early December 08 and I've really enjoyed them all. They've been different in terms of terrain, where they've taken place, the guides etc. but I've enjoyed them all. Got wet a few times, but overall the walks and the guides have been first class.
A great way to spend a few hours on a weekend. You learn something of the history of this wonderful county of ours (Northumberland), you have a laugh and of course there's the scenery.
Will definitely be doing plenty more walks and putting miles on the soles of my boots with Shepherd Walks. |

The 9 mile circuit from Rothbury to Simonside is one of the most beautiful walks my husband and I have ever done in Northumberland. The route and instructions were so good even we didn't get lost or need to consult the OS map. We will most certainly invest in more routes. Thank you. |
