Was on the walk on Sunday 31st January to Nellie Herons Memorial. What a fantastic day. Very cold, bright day with the views of the surrounding hills amazing. A really wonderful walk with Richard Holmes a great guide with lots of information. A big thankyou to him, Alison and the group for making it a truly excellent day. |

Sunday 11th October 2009. Safety in the Hills with Russell Tait. Hints, tips and advice, all to help you assess and appreciate the possible dangers in the hills. All carried out with a walk in the Breamish valley, wonderful. A navigation exercise and an assault on the east face of Brough Law thrown in and some of Russell jokes to get your chuckle muscles exercised. What a brilliant day with excellent company. My thanks to all. |

Saturday 10th October 2009. Chillingham Ancient Park, for the third time this year. A wonderful day out. Alison Marsh and her husband Richard make it such an interesting and enthralling day. Even seeing the cattle and listening to their remarkable history for the third time never ceases to amaze.
A great big thank you to Alison, Richard and Shepherds Walks. |

22/8/09 Have thoroughly enjoyed the day climbing up Windy Ghyll. Despite getting off to bad start (late arriving at meet due to road closure - hadn't read your email warning us) think we were quickly forgiven and were rewarded with glorious weather. The views from the top are breathtaking. We can't wait to sign up for more walks. We loved being able to take our dogs with us too. Finally, our guide, Mike Evens was brilliant, shared his extensive knowledge, making the whole day all the more enjoyable. |
